My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Downey dislocated a shoulder in an injury that ended his racing career. Despite the hope of vets at Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson that the injury would heal without intervention, they discovered that he had torn a muscle in his shoulder, and did require surgery. He has been in foster during his recovery, and is now seeking a forever home, where he can finish his rehab with his new family. His injury is such that he may have a permanent limp.
I need a quiet place with a soft dog bed to recuperate from my injury. I promise I'll be a good boy if you let me stay with you. Just contact the folks at foster@sagreyhoundadoption.org!

Downey is 3. He is not small dog or cat tolerant.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Downey is an absolute sweetheart. He is a happy boy who loves people. He has discovered toys and enjoys playing with them. Downey is going to be an awesome companion.
