My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Beau, which means handsome--and that I am. Even with only peach fuzz, you can see I'm a handsome fella. I am all puppy--full of fun and love and joy and energy! I get along well with other dogs of all sizes, although I may be a bit overwhelming for small dogs. I'm constantly trying to convince the other danes in my foster home to play, butt up, front paws done, and lots of wiggling!

I'm also good with cats, because, let's face it, I'm a really great dane and dog! I've also lived with kids 6 + so that might work out if your kids are nice and not too wild. I'm gaining some much needed weight and just getting better all around, thanks to my foster mom.

I shed my coat recently because I had mange, but I'm recovering well and my hair is growing in like peach fuzz--it's so soft and, even practically naked, you can see how handsome I really am. Not many dogs could pull off this look, but I make it work for me! When my fur grows back, the papers says I'll be a beautiful merle color (mottled gray/blue, very pretty).

I would prefer a fenced in yard where I can run and play. My new family needs to be prepared for a very big puppy with puppy energy and puppy silliness. I'm good while my family is at work, am housetrained and will be neutered prior to adoption.
