Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Remington was brought in by his owner because he was just too big for them. "Too Big" for them maybe but he is such a gentleman, he hardly seems big at all. He is close to 90lbs and 3 years old. He loves to go on walks and is so well behaved, he is so easy to handle, all the volunteer dog-walkers want to walk Remington first. We did test this boy and he came up Heartworm positive and Lyme positive. He will be treated by LASSI for those very treatable/survivable ailments. Don't let that diagnosis scare you off from considering Remington for adoption. He is a great dog and shouldn't be stuck in the county shelter. There really is nothing for an owner to do for him besides keeping him quiet and treating him like the king that he is. Remington is available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control. Please call 231-861-5395. ** Ask about possible Adoption Transportation assistance if you are not in the local area.** The adoption fee is $95. All adult dogs will be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots before adoption.
