Hello, my name is Muffin and I was born on 8/12/13. I am a really sweet and fun kitty. Originally I was living in a smaller house and I really loved it there. Then my current owners decided to move to a bigger house because they had another baby boy who was born in May, so now I had two major changes within 2 months.
My current owners purchased me for their 5 year old daughter who really wanted a cat and they all just couldn't resist my furry little face. The girl played with me a lot in the beginning, but now she is more into playing with her baby brother and coloring, so I am not getting as much attention as I crave and enjoy.
I had a full check-up when I was a kitten. I got a lion cut both this spring and summer. At first I really didn’t like getting the cut, but I sure did love it afterwards. I think it would be great to continue getting the lion cut every summer, since I do always feel better afterwards. I love playing with things that fall to the ground...like water cap, balls…anything that slides. I have been playing with this zip tie thing for weeks now. I’ll ask my current owners if I can bring it with me to my new home. I look for it all the time in the kitchen as it gets pushed in the pantry while I am trying to find it and I love my laser light.
I love to sleep in bed with my humans. Although I am not known to be a lap cat, I sure do love having my ears and head scratched.
Ok, I have to admit to having some quirks, such as licking your food if it’s left on a plate on a table that I can get to it. I have also been known trying to eat turkey, cheese, etc. And while it's confession time, I do have to admit to having a sweet tooth too...the other day I was caught licking up the chocolate icing on a cake plate…yummy! Oh, and one more thing, I do so love Blue Buffalo kitty snacks – just sayin’.
Continuing on the threat of what I really LOVE – one is my current owner’s older Black Lab doggy. I do so love to rub up against him and play with his tail. Since I am strictly an indoor kitty, I have to be content with watching him through the glass door when he's outside. Now I am not sure how I would feel about little yappy dogs, because my lab doggy friend is super mellow and submissive. He doesn't bark, which I like and of course I am the boss of him.
My purrfect forever home will either be with a single person or with a couple that stays home a lot and has time to give me a lot of attention. Many Meows from Muffin.
