Mo's Story...
Sweet little Mo has been through so much at such a young age. He was attacked by another dog and his owners could not afford his vet bill so he they were going to euthanize him. Smooch Pooch Rescue was notified and we immediately took him and got him all fixed up. He needed surgery and staples to repair the wound and he is healing nicely...he is one lucky pup! Mo is about 4 months old and currently weighs about 7.5 pounds. Full grown we estimate he will be approximately 15-18 pounds or so. He is great with other dogs and cats too. He is your typical playful puppy with lots of energy. He is great with people and does well with children. He will be neutered as soon as he is old enough and will have all his puppy vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, flea treatment and fecal tested. Mo will need to go to a home with someone who has the time to train him and who has the energy for a puppy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mo, a San Pedro Pug/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Pug/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pug/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
