My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just like many other homeless dogs, Norman started out life as a beloved pet and family member. But as time went on, for whatever reason, his family couldn't or wouldn't keep him. He had become a burden that needed to be placed on someone else. He was hastily placed in a "trusted" home. In this new home, he suffered unbearable neglect. He was left in a small crate with out any food, in an abandoned home with no heat. His leg became entangled in the harness that had carelessly been left on him and wasn't able to reach the ground. He sat like this for weeks, watching and waiting for his family to come back, as he slowly got thinner and thinner. His previous owner somehow became aware of the situation and came back to get him, but that was only temporary. He wasn't welcomed home with hugs and kisses, there were no tears shed for what he had been through. He wasn't even allowed to come in the house. Although he was being fed once again, poor little Norman was kept in a car with no heat for two weeks until he was finally surrendered here to us. Even with all he has been through Norman is the sweetest, friendliest guy you could ever want to meet. His resilience and willingness to forgive is such an inspiration to all of us. If you can find it in your heart to give Norman the second chance he deserves, stop in and get to know him today.
