Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I am Millie. They say I am a lab mix - but in reality, I am 100% lap dog! Stare into my eyes, golden like my fur and you will see my desire to please and my fun-loving, curious nature. Before my foster family offered me refuge from the big winter storm, I spent most of my days in the kennels, frolicking in the yard with my friends. Now I am in this thing they call a house and they have couches and chairs and comfy warm blankets to sleep on! I even sleep in a crate when they ask me to. I love to be close to people, hike, romp in the snow, play tug of war with my foster brother and play catch with treats. As much as I love the indoors, I do love being outside! My foster family likes to go on long walk - I am great on the leash and like to walk 3-5 miles every day! That's right...I have solved your 2016 fitness resolution! I have never been introduced to cats and have limited experience with little children... but, once I can learn to mind my manners, momma says I should do just fine with kids! Now...I have to be honest...do need a loving home who will put up with my occasional loud breathing...I have a collapsed trachea which doesn't bother me, slow me down or require any special medical care, just makes me sound like freight train when I get too excite - and I do get excited when I get to go play and meet new people. I am looking for a forever friend who will keep me active, smile back at me, put up with my occasional loud breathing, give me treats, and let me play inside or in a big, fenced in yard and will take me on long walks!
