My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hugo was adopted from our rescue approximately two years ago. Just a few days ago, he was tied to the fence outside a northern California shelter prior to opening. He was accompanied with a note that claimed his owner died. Thanks to a microchip, we were contacted and a great group of people went into action to get him from the shelter and transport him back to Phoenix.

Hugo is just as sweet and easy going as he was two years ago. Whatever he has been through these past two years hasn't seemed to affect him.

Hugo is a flat coated retriever mix we estimate to be 6 yrs old. . He has that sweet, easy going personality of a flat coated retriever. He does well with other dogs or is good on his own. I often find him sleeping in a corner away from the other residents to have his own "space". He is doggy door trained and pretty good on a leash.. .

Hugo is fully vaccinated and neutered. His adoption donation is just $200 which helps purchase food and needed medical for the other dogs in the rescue.

If you are interested in learning more about Hugo, contact Robin at britrescueaz@cox.net or calling 602-501-1844.

Our adoption process includes an application, interview, home visit and meet and greet. We give all adopters a two week trial. We will refund your adoption donation should you not find Hugo a good match within that two week period.
