Meet Frosty!      DOB: October 2010
Special Needs: Tested + with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)

Frosty was born and raised outdoors where he survived a harsh winter. When NTCR rescued him from life on the streets (with his brother Snowy) they were very lucky not to have suffered frostbite despite the extreme cold and temperatures where reading minus 15, for many days prior. A little shy to start, Frosty has blossomed into a warm and sweet boy who enjoys human touch, petting and chasing after that little red dot! Frosty has test positive with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) but is otherwise healthy, as he seems to truly know he is finally safe. He is a very relaxed gentle soul who has often found using his access to the outdoor enclosure in the warmer months. He does very well with other cats and is just waiting for that special family to pick him and finally experience what it is like to have a home of his own! If you want to give Frosty the “furever” home he has never known and waited a lifetime for, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
