Hannah's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Hannah's Story...
Hannah is a beautiful chocolate girl. She knows sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, drop it, shake, and play dead. She is extremely agile and loves to play Frisbee and ball. Hannah would love a dog sister or brother. No cats please! Hannah is housebroken and loves people. Because of her exuberance, she is best suited to a family with teenage children and adults. She would make a great walking or running partner and with proper training would be great at agility. Hannah requires a fenced in yard. Hannah is believed to be a lab/vizsla/terrier mix.

Hannah's adoption fee is $175; she is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Some of our pets are in foster care. If you are interested in a specific pet, please contact the shelter at (618) 939-7389 to arrange a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hannah, a Columbia Labrador Retriever/Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Vizsla for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Vizsla dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Vizsla breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
