Oliver's Story...
Oliver was brought in and released to us by his owner because they were moving and couldn't take him along. He is now available for adoption. Oliver is 1 year old. His previous owner said that he is good with kids and also housebroken. Oliver is a happy and energetic big boy. He loves to get out of his kennel as often as possible to run off his extra energy. He had a young visitor today to spend time with today and play ball with and Oliver was in heaven. He could have continued chasing the ball for hours! If you are interested in this sweet boy, stop by and meet him today and ask to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Troy Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Troy, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
