Moxie's Story...
Moxie was surrendered to us by her owner because they got a new puppy and she did not get along with the puppy. She is a 7 year old, 10 pound Yorkie who is very scared and timid right now, she just lost the only home she has ever known. She is trained to use the potty on washable pads and outside. She should be the only dog and no small children. Moxie has to be shaved as she was so matted but her coat will grow back healthier now. If interested in Moxie please e-mail littleyorkierescue@yahoo.com

UPDATE: Moxie is playing with the other dogs here in rescue and they are all getting along great. She played with toys last night and she is like a little puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moxie, a Lorain Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Lorain, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Lorain.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lorain already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lorain breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lorain paves the way for another one to be saved.
