Have you ever known someone who seemed really shy on first meeting but after you showed interest in them they blossomed and became your best friend? That's how it will be when you get to know Lexx. He's a shy guy at first, but he will be your ever grateful shadow of love once you show him that you are going to be his forever human!
This boy loves a great game of tug, to wrestle, and to destroy plush toys! He's so playful. He loves a good walk and then returning for lots of cuddle time. He is curious of other dogs and may be able to live with a well-matched friend, but a meet and greet will be necessary. Lexx shows friendly interest in the cats around his foster home, but has not been observed with them in the home. He hasn't been observed with children.
Lexx is calm and loving. He does have some storm anxiety though does fine if his human is nearby. He always wants to be as close to his human as possible. He shows this to his foster mom by absconding with one of her shoes and putting it in his bed to be closer to her when she isn't around. He doesn't destroy them mind you, just wants a trinket of his human near him at all times.
Lexx is learning lots of new things these days. He walks on leash with just a hint of a pull but corrects well with a firm verbal reminder. He knows sit and down and since he is easily encouraged by treats, he should be a fast learner for you.
Remember not to overlook this shy boy who is going to be as close to you as a dog can get to his human as soon as you win his trust. Come meet Lexx today!
