"Hi, there, folks! My name is IZZY, and I'm a lovely Labrador Retriever/ pit bull mix darling. I'm young and vivacious at just one year old, so I'd love to go on long walks or hikes every day. We're fortunate to live in sunny California, so we can enjoy our daily outdoor exercise together. I'm friendly, funny, and active, so I'll need a yard in my new home. I love to play with other larger dogs, and I'd be a wonderful family pet. I know some commands, and I'd love to learn even more. I truly enjoy playing fetch with toys, and I'll sit before you throw the toy. I'm such a good girl! The shelter staff isn't sure if I've been house trained yet, so I'll probably need to work on that. If you give me lots of praise when I go in the right place, I'll pick up on it pretty fast. I'm not just a pretty face, I'm also quite smart and eager to learn. Won't you please come visit me? I'm waiting for you here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. They've got a really nice play yard here where we can hang out together and have some fun.
