Facts about Oreo

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 20243
  • Hair: Short
Oreo originally came to us way back in May, 2009, when he was just a young kitten, and was hiding out under someone's deck. He was also stuck to the velcro on their grill cover, which made matters worse for him. Oreo was brought to safety and got himself a check up with our veterinarian, then he began making friends. Oreo was so happy when his special someone came along a few months later and adopted him! Sadly, his owner had to give him up two years later when they had to go into assisted living, and couldn't take Oreo along. So, Oreo has been with us now since January 2011, and he is really ready to try his luck at a great home again. Oreo is about 7 years old and is a shy boy, but very sweet. When he gets to know you he is super mushy and loving, and wants nothing more than to cuddle up in your lap. Oreo will need time to adjust once he gets into a home and may even hide for a while at first. If you have patience with him and let him get to know you and his new surroundings, he will come around and be your best friend forever. Oreo gets along fine with other cats and even well behaved children. He just wants a loving, permanent place that he can call home for the rest of his life. File#20243 1/28/11
