Eden's Story...
This gorgeous young lady is Eden, a 4 year old long haired calico that would just love a caring and comfortable home of her own. Eden certainly did not have a good home prior to coming to us. She came in quite matted and filthy when she was abandoned in a crate near our front door. We're thankful that she was brought to us instead of being abandoned in the woods somewhere, but we do wish that she would have been brought in long before she suffered such neglect. At least this beautiful lady is safe with us now and we're happy to have her. Eden is such a great girl that just loves people, and she is very vocal in her love of people. She is happy to purr and meow up a storm to let you know how much she likes you and to get some attention. She is very mushy and friendly, and is very content to curl up in your lap and take a snooze. Eden does not get along with other cats, but she loves people of all ages, and is so deserving of a great home. Come in and meet our lovely lady, and give her the lifetime of happiness that she is dreaming of. File#23860 8/25/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eden, a Forked River Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
