Ivanka's Story...
HOLY COW! This girl is amazing! Ivanka came from a very horrible shelter in Texas and nearly lost her life there. Thanks for the goodness of foster homes and a network of people, Ivanka is alive and well and looking for her forever home. She is simply darling and one of the sweetest young ladies we've had. She is small, weighing about 45lbs and is about 1 year old. She is nearly house trained, crate trained, takes treats well, and is ok on lead. She would be great and a star pupil in any obedience courses as she is a smart cookie too. She loves humans and she loves dogs. She can be cat tested if needed and go into a home with respectful children. Ivanka is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is currently micro-chipped and kept on frontline and heartgard and ready for her new family to pick her up! Please complete an online adoption application and request her on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivanka, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
