Ruff Ruff! My name is Xena

Meet the sweetheart of the Paws and Claws group.  This is Xena or as we fondly know her as "Xexe" (pronounced zeezee). She  has an absolutely beautiful golden-red coat, a bright little face and a curled tail.  When you see her, you are sure to fall in love. 

Xexe is a Finnish Spitz mix, and possibly part Akita.  Her temperament is sweet and friendly.  She is approximately 12 years old but has a younger spirit. Xexe is potty trained and well behaved.  She has come a long way in her training with socializing with other animals. At one point, she could never be in the same room as a cat, now she will tolerate them but would do best as the only dog/animal in the household.

We think Xexe would make a great companion for an older person or a couple.  She is loyal and will stay by your side.  Though she is very patient & waits for her foster person to return from work, Xexe would love to have human companionship during the day. And, of course, she would enjoy a yard where she could run around a bit.  One of her favorite leisurely things to do is to "patrol" the yard by walking the perimeter.
