My story

Hello, everyone. Thelma here. Yes, I am newbie here and, yes, I am absolutely precious. I was in foster care for awhile because I had a nasty case of kennel cough after leaving the shelter. I was listed as a Terrier, but the folks here think I’m more of a Chinese Crested Powder Puff mix whose fur is not as luxurious as it should be (we’re working on that). They said they don’t really care what I am; they just love me for who I am and they want to find me a forever home.

The shelter initially thought I was around 10 years old, but vet says I’m younger – possibly 6-7. I weigh a whole 12 lbs. You can almost put me in your pocket! ;) I am a little shy when first meeting people, but can easily be won over by a treat. Once I’m comfortable, I can run like the wind and I love to play. I love all people and have no problem with other dogs. I just let them be, if they don’t like me … but what’s not to like?
