BLANCHE's Story...
Hi there, my name is Blanche!

Do you know what it is like to love someone? To spend every waking and sleeping hour with that individual? To have that one individual with you during your most troubling time… like that time when your humans surrender you in your senior years to a high kill pound? For me, that was my partner in crime, Dorothy. We did everything together; she was the other half of my heart. Then one day Dorothy got sick and stopped eating. They came for her and I never saw her again. The other half of my heart was ripped from my chest and I was left confused in a strange place.

That is when Team Cat Rescue stepped in and agreed to help. I am still getting used to my life without Dorothy but slowly I am coming around. I am a timid, sweet girl; unfortunately, my front claws are declawed. I am looking for a new, loving, forever home. I think I would adjust to having another feline companion as companionship with Dorothy is all I've ever know.

If you think we might make a good match, then please get in touch with Team Cat Rescue today and help me mend my heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BLANCHE, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
