Pepper is my name and my brother Pepe and I were given up because of barking and some snapping at the kids (mostly Pepe). The consensus is that we would do better apart and then Pepe can stop being so protective of me – I’m a grown up girl, I’ll do just fine. At first I may be rude and bark at you, but once I am comfortable in my environment I am a total love bug! I will be in your lap begging for doggy massages and lots of cuddle time. What I long for most is a forever family to show me lots of love and give me the stability I need. In the meantime I’m soaking up all the attention that I get from the Volunteers. I'm all right with other dogs, but really I'm all about people, so being an only dog that will get lots of attention would be fine with me. I weigh six pounds, so no young children please; I would do fine with older respectful children who understand that wee dogs are fragile. I have lots of energy for a small dog, I enjoy going for walks and would be keen on having a yard so that I can play with my humans. Small dogs have small bladders therefore I would do better in a home where I’m not expected to hold all day. If you have experience and you are looking for a very unique mix of Japanese Chin and Chihuahua, I’m here and I’m ready to go. Please fill in the Adoption Form if I am the dog that you would like to adopt.
