My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Biscuit and I just arrived in Cincinnati.

I lived my whole life with my mom and human brother and 2 other fur kids, Jewel and Max in Tennessee. You’re probably wondering how we got to SRC and to Cincinnati. Well my mom, Chris died very suddenly leaving us, her furkids and our young 2 legged brother all alone and on our own.

It was a lot of responsibility for our brother. He made an unselfish decision to help us get a fantastic life and reached out to his mom’s rescue friends for help. My mom’s rescue friends contacted Martha of Martha Mutt Movers; who put out the plea for a rescue to take us. Martha sponsored our vet care to get us ready to travel and created a transport to get us to Cincinnati. It took a lot of wonderful angels to make all this happen.

We visited the vet, who checked us out head to tail and updated our vaccines. Then we hopped on a transport, the same route that my mom used to drive. We had a spa day and are scheduled to get our teeth cleaned. Wow we are feeling so much better with all of our needs taken care.

Biscuit is a cute little Schnauzer / Cairn terrier mix about 13 years old. She is tan in color and cute as a button. She has the most bouncy personality. When she first meets new people she is shy and a little skiddish, but quickly warms up. Biscuit does have 1 small quirk, she freaks out when someone takes a hat off around her. She doesn’t mind hats on heads but she doesn’t like when anyone takes a hat off around her. We think she had bad experiences when she was a wee pup and on her own. Biscuit was originally rescued from the street when she was a wee pup.

Biscuit is good with men, women, kids, cats and other dogs. She loves to play with toys and snuggle. She loves to take long walks and does not pull on the leash. She loves car rides and rides well in a car. Biscuit has house manners. She is so sweet and everyone says who meets her says she is so cute.

Biscuit is looking for her furever home and a place to lay her head on your lap and if you have a 2 legged kid that would be great as well.

So please put Biscuit on your application and if you are looking for a dynamic duo or cute trio add Max and/ or Jewel as well.
