Meet Pete! Pete is an absolutely adorable 12 week old Lab/Terrier mix. He and his siblings were born in a storage container at a National Guard Armory in Mississippi. Their mom had been there for quite some time, and was very weak and emaciated. She was unable to feed them, so they were bottle raised in foster care.

Pete is a very sweet, social little fellow. He is good with dogs, cats, and people of all ages and sizes, including children. He would fit into just about any home, and our vet said we can expect his adult size to be between 35-40 pounds.

Pete is currently being fostered in Castleton, VT.

Pete is neutered, utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. He has also been microchipped. He must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family.

If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application!

Pete's adoption fee is $475 which includes all age appropriate vet care, neuter, microchip and associated costs.

We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. We do not adopt to anyone under 21.

Pete, a Augusta Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Augusta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Augusta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Augusta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Augusta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue.
