Sasha's Story...
Please CLICK HERE to fill out our adoption application!

Meet Sasha! Sasha is a stunningly gorgeous 7 month old GSD/Husky mix. She came into rescue as the last pup from a litter her owner could not place. Sasha is very sweet girl, but does tend to be a little shy when meeting new people. She gets over that quickly, and a little socialization will eliminate this completely.

Sasha gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play. She is interested in cats, but not aggressive with them. We feel she'd do fine with a dog savvy cat. She does require a secure fence, as huskies tend to be wanderers.

Sasha is spayed, utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. She has also been microchipped. She must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family.

If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application!

Sasha's adoption fee is $475 which includes all age appropriate vet care, neuter, microchip and associated costs.

We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. We do not adopt to anyone under 21.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Augusta German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Augusta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy from a breeder in Augusta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Augusta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Augusta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Augusta paves the way for another one to be saved.
