Sophia is a cuddly, 13-year-old, 39-pound female Belgian Shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Her eyesight isn't perfect, but she still gets around just fine. She LOVES leashed walks and long naps on fluffy beds. Her flaw is that because she has such poor eyesight, she tends to snap when grabbing treats, food or at objects passing by, so she’s looking for a home without other pets, and best with older children.

Sophie is looking for a safe and stable environment that this special senior dog would need. She can actually hold it for a full eight-hour day … so she’s housebroken, crate-trained and well-behaved in the home. And, she does respect a baby gate if you want to keep her in a certain area of your home.

Sophie is a healthy senior. She had a full dental cleaning, is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, fecal-tested, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $75 benefits the rescued dogs of Perfect Pooches.
