My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little fellow is Casper Conrad. Casper was running around loose at a gas station near a busy freeway, when a caring passerby saw him and came to his rescue. He was covered in fleas and gasoline and had really long nails when she took him in. Because of landlord restrictions, she could not keep him, so she turned to DREAM for help.

Casper is an adorable double dapple purebred boy, who is only about 10 months old. He has slightly impaired vision but can actually see pretty well. He's getting around his temporary foster home perfectly. He is also somewhat hearing impaired, but because he’s such a happy, active puppy, it’s hard to test him as puppy responses and reactions are so different from adult dogs. Casper weighs about 14 lbs. and he's full grown. The vet says he probably won’t get any bigger but he does need to gain a pound or two. He is unbelievably friendly and likes other dogs too.

Don’t let his doggie disabilities get in the way of considering this precious puppy as your forever companion. You’d be amazed at how well they adapt and how enhanced their other senses become when relied upon!
