Hey you…yes you. My name is Jay and I am a Capricorn. I like candlelight dinners, romantic movies and watching the stars at night. Actually I don’t even know what any of those things are but I do know “sit”, “shake”, “speak” and I’m kinda good at “lay down”. I do know what “no” is but don’t tell my foster parents – it’ll be our little secret. I am housetrained, crate trained (I am actually very good out of my crate for a couple of hours by myself), and do very good on the leash. My favorite words are “go for a ride”. If you say them you better mean it because I love going. Now I am sure you all know that us Boxers like to give kisses, well let me tell you what; I don’t give kisses, I will give you a tongue bath. I am a little dominant towards my Boxer foster sister but I am learning the pack order and get along with her and my two little foster sisters (they think they are dogs but they are just yippy ankle bitters and I mostly just tune them out). My last daddy told me that I don’t like cats so who am I to argue. If you are interested in adopting me I have only a couple of prerequisites you must agree to. First you must love me forever and be patient, second you must give me daily exercise, and the most important thing – you have to have a ceiling fan in my room, I love those things. So now you know about me, why don’t you tell me something about you, go ahead and fill out an application and if we are a match then we can have that candlelight dinner, watch a romantic movie and fall asleep under the stars or in front of the TV. Are you my special person because I can be your special Boxer. Oh, one last thing, I am a big boy with big feet and you know what they say about guys with big feet…they have big hearts. He is being fostered by Eric and Kim in the Gainesville area.
