Montana's Story...
Meet Montana!

Montana is a 2 year old happy-go-lucky boy that was seized as part of a cruelty case through Cumberland County SPCA.

Despite having led a terrible life prior to rescue, everything makes Montana happy! He wants attention and play time, with lots of petting. He is a handsome "cow" print pitty - mostly white with black patches.

Montana was very comfortable during his dog introduction and did not react. It seems, however, that he has no idea how to play. Once he comes into foster care, we will teach him with slow introductions. With a little bit of work, our happy boy will make the perfect dog. Montana is also currently in foster care with kids and we will learn how he does with them shortly. Montana will remain in foster care with BRPBR for a minimum of 30 days for a full evaluation prior to placing him in his forever home.

Montana is neutered and up to date on vaccines as well as Heartworm tested and on monthly heartworm preventative. He will be microchipped prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Montana, a Southampton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Southampton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Southampton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southampton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southampton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southampton paves the way for another one to be saved.
