Maggie's Story...
Aggie & Maggie are a very bonded mother/daughter pair who are looking for a forever home where they can stay together.

Maggie is a little more social than her momma and though still small, almost twice the size of Aggie. She is interested in her four-legged foster siblings, but is more interested in being loved on by her humans! She is incredibly sweet and asks to be petted by rubbing her paw on top of your arm until you give in to her :-p. She likes to wear her sweater, but is comfortable without it, as well. She is working on walking on a leash & house training, though she does relieve herself on the pee pads her foster mom leaves out if she cannot get outside! Maggie is crate trained & able to jump up on the furniture without her steps, but prefers to use them where available. This girl is VERY sweet & is ready for her forever home!

If you're interested in adopting both of these girls, please go to www.c2cnd.org to fill out an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Charlotte Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
