found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Wilbur, a neutered male puppy, 3-4 months old, 18lbs
I am a super friendly, sweet, and playful dog! I love being around people and am great with dogs of all sizes. I love anyone I meet, good with children as my foster mom’s son is 7 years old, and really playful with other dogs. I am doing extremely well in my foster home and patiently waiting for a loving home. If you take a close look at my photo, you will see that I have a special marking “W” on my nose. This is why my foster mom named me Wilbur. She really loves me so much and wants to keep me in her home as her son is named Wesley! However, she knows that there are so many dogs dying each day that she needs to foster and find homes for.
I am still very young and have not had a good life. My canine mother, Rosy, was found abandoned in a busy street area. My mom got pregnant and gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies. She dug a hole in the bushes and kept us clean and fed. A kind lady who works nearby will come feed us twice a week. She really wanted to rescue us but she lives in a small apartment and has to work over 12 hours a day. She posted our story on Facebook and contacted various rescue groups but no one was willing to help us.
When my foster mom heard our story, she knew it was urgent to save us before it’s too late. On the day of our rescue, 3 of my siblings went missing and one of my brother got rescued. They couldn’t take my mom as they were worried about me. For the next 2 weeks I was living homeless with my mom who loves me very much. Then, the local garbage collectors got a call to catch my mom and to send her to a high kill government shelter. They caught my mom and I ran as hard as I can and fell into a gutter. I was starving in the gutter for another week until my foster mom was able to rescue me and reunite with my mom. We are doing extremely well and is very happy at our foster home.
I am very ready for my own forever home so that my foster mom can make space and help with another poor dog like me. My foster mom promised to find me a loving home so that we will never starve and will grow up safe and happy! Please give me a chance to live!
