My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was 4 months old when the people who had me took me for my first car ride. Although I was in pain, and had been for as long as I can remember; I was still excited that we were together and going someplace. I recall sitting in the back seat looking out the window as we drove for a while. I could see tall trees and lots of them, we finally stopped and the humans got out at the end of a long road. They took my food bowl and filled it with food. Oh good, I was getting hungry. They let me out the car and I went right up to my bowl, like a good girl. When I was finished eating, I turned around and they were gone. I sat there, waiting. I just knew they would come back for me. As time passed, I started to get worried, it was getting late and I was afraid. I heard a car, is it them? A face I never seen before stopped and asked me where I came from. Her face was sad, she told me to hang on that I would be okay. I didn’t know at the time, but that was the day my life changed forever. She was the first of many Rescue Angels to bless my life. My name is Jade and I am 7 months old. I am doing well now; I’ve had my surgeries and have recovered from having the mange. In the course of my recovery, I’ve learned that there were humans I’ve never met, who prayed and donated for me! I am overwhelmed by the kindness I’ve been shown. My foster family is so special to me. I tear up just thinking of them, they have been my teachers, my friends, my protectors. They have nursed and nurtured my mind, body and soul. From the beginning my foster canine siblings, took me under their wings and showed me the ropes. So now, I am being big sister to a new pup that came into our foster home. I know and give only kindness to others, whether canine, feline or humans of all ages. I never meet a stranger, and I am a bit of a social butterfly, and always like to say hello when I see a new human. I do very well in the car and like to go for rides and walks. I graduated from Karen’s K9 Obedience School, in Pascagoula, MS on Aug. 30. I really like learning and excel when I am given a task. I am very grateful to so many, who made it possible for me to be here today! My life was spared, and I know that God has big plans for me. So, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and I promise I will pay it forward.
