Mara's Story...
Mara is a 3-4 yr old sealed brindle girl with white markings. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. She seems to be house broken (no accidents yet), has a great temperament, so sweet and full of boxer kisses and wiggles. Mara is crate trained and ready to find her new home. Mara is being fostered by Angie & Nick in the Southeast Georgia area. Update! Like many Boxers, Mara loves to dance! Watch the video of Mara booty shakin'!.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mara, a Jacksonville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
