Katniss and her sister Prim were found under an abandoned house in north Houston. Born in June, Katniss is an Ibizan Hound mix, which accounts for her exotic good looks. Extremely malnourished when rescued, Katniss has blossomed with loving care and regular meals, and is healthy, happy, and excited to meet you as she searches for her forever family!

Katniss will be happy with you in an apartment or house. She will enjoy spending time with you and will need exercise, which means—you guessed it—more together time! You are going to enjoy watching Katniss mature and become your best friend! She is smart and will eager to learn as you lead the way for her.
