Charlie (CP)'s Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, and good with cats.

Charlie (CP)'s Story...
Charlie is searching for a new home without cat allergies. He has been a great cat but his family’s young son has developed allergies. They have tried interventions and keeping Charlie and the son in separate locations but they’re hoping to find a home where Charlie can have more freedom and activity. Charlie is approximately 5 years old, neutered, declawed, and up to date on his vaccines. He gets along with other cats and small children but has never been around dogs. He currently eats a cat food to prevent urinary problems and has had no problems with this. If you are interested in adopting or fostering Charlie, or his sister Misty, please contact Katie at 717-953-6918 or katieh2389@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie (CP), a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
