Owen's Story...
Owen is a 12-14 week old Dachshund puppy, with possibly ¼ Terrier. Owen was given to someone who could not keep him, and is now with us, awaiting loving adoptive parents. Since Owen is a Dachshund with a hint of Terrier—he is active and headstrong, and extremely intelligent.

Owen who was used to playing with a dog-friendly cat (who thinks he is a dog too) and his sisters all day, would probably enjoy a canine pal or a cat, or a very active human parent. Owen is a happy, very affectionate little guy who was sleeping with his temporary mom, nestled behind her back in bed.

Although he is now 8 pounds, he will probably grow up to be around 20 to 25 pounds. Owen has had Advantage flea treatment, 1st and 2nd wormings, and micro chipping and registration. He has also had his first set of puppy shots. He is crate trained, and his housetraining is almost complete.
He will need to be seen again for follow-up puppy shots and also neutering when old enough. If you’d like to meet Owen, please contact: jessbrad12@socal.rr.com or call 818-998-2044.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Owen, a Harbor City Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Harbor City, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Harbor City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harbor City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harbor City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harbor City paves the way for another one to be saved.
