My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SASSY is also an apricot Toy Poodle who weighs just 5 pounds and is 9 inches tall and was also born June 9, 2006. She is a litter mate to Sasha and a litter mate to Pebbles who was adopted a few months ago.

Sassy is cute, quiet and cuddly. She can turned on the charm with her I'm so darn cute looks. She is more reserved than her sister, Sasha, but really enjoys being held and loved.

She plays with her sister and has begun to play with the toys, but is not very active with any of the other Poodles. We're not sure if that is just her personality, or just because her sister is here, she doesn't want to associate with any of the other Poodles. Like Sasha, Sassy would be just fine by herself.

Sassy has been a perfect lady in her kennel and our home. She has quickly learned to relieve herself outside.

She's not very excited about going for a walk, so she would enjoy a fenced yard to run around in.

Her devil costume for Halloween was chosen as she is NOT a devil, but more of an angel. Not a mean bone in her body! As pictured on our web site, Sassy didn't really like the costume and didn't especially care for the pumpkins either. You can see what she thinks of them! (Get me the &^#@ out of here!)

Sassy has very thin hair. Tests showed nothing wrong, so she was shaved bald in hopes that her new coat will return thicker.
Yes, we will put a sweater on her as our weather becomes colder.

Absolutely no large dogs or small children for this little peanut.

While her teeth were being cleaned, Sassy had many broken and rotting teeth removed along with some stitches to help close the nasal cavity from the rotting teeth.

She has been spayed, heart worm tested negative, shots are up to date, micro-chipped and wormed. She is feeling just fine and eating everything (hard kibble) that is served.

This little peanut is most anxious to be with her new loving family; a home of her own where she knows she will be spoiled with love and attention. Oh yes, I love this little girl too!

Sassy's $250.00 adoption fee (plus Minnesota State Sales Tax) with help pay for just some of her Vet expenses. The adoption fee also includes her kennel, a new blanket, a doggie bed, dog food, leash, collar, various toys, treats, a winter coat and lots of good information to help your adoption start off on the right paw forward.

IF YOU CHOOSE to adopt Sassy AND her sister Sasha together, we will give you a $100.00 discount!

NOTE FROM GAIL...
SASSY arrived at Picket Fence Poodle Rescue from a northern Minnesota Breeder along with 4 other Poodles. We are grateful to be able to help these Poodles.

While they all did lack in Veterinary and grooming care, they all had been in a home environment where love and attention was given. Thus, they have ALL quickly moved into our home and hearts.

Now they are ready for adoption and do deserve homes with loving families
who will care for them forever.

Unlike certain neglected Poodles that we have received in the past, I have found all five of these Poodles quick learners and are very gentle, soft, easy going Poodles.
