Goldie's Story...
5/7/14 When Goldie arrived, she came with 8 babies in tow. Being a single mom is tough especially in a shelter environment, but lucky for this family a foster was secured and Goldie raised her babies in a loving home. As usual, the babies have long been adopted and here sits the loving, loyal and dedicated mother. Goldie is a young pit bulldog mix which doesn't help her adoption odds. That said, her adoption fee has been sponsored for just the right home...we know there's one out there! Goldie gets along well with the shelter dogs and never meets a stranger. When she was in her foster home, she didn't mind at all the kids laying on her or playing with her babies. Goldie just takes it all in stride. She is definitely a great little lady who knows exactly what she want out of life...a loving FOREVER home! We have no doubt that she will be a great addition to any family with her loving, mothering nature. She has a lot to offer if just given a chance. (Look at her smiling face!!!) :-)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Charleston Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
