Wyatt's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Wyatt's Story...
Big Fan of: Looking for a fun and playful pup? Wyatt is your guy! He loves to play with people and dogs alike and is one of the happiest dogs we know. Wyatt enjoys taking long walks, playing with toys of every kind, wrestling with other dogs his size, working on training for yummy treats, and getting belly rubs!

Not a Fan of: There isn’t too much Wyatt doesn’t like. He is perfectly happy as long as he gets the exercise, affection, and training he craves!

A little More… Wyatt arrived at PAWS from another shelter in October of 2014. He has been kept busy with obedience training and agility at our PAWS training center while he has been waiting for a home. This pup is a smart cookie! He is extremely food motivated and loves to work his mind as well as his body. Wyatt can often be seen snuggling and playing with his dog roommates at the Adoption Center.

Dream Home: Wyatt is dreaming of an active home where he can play like a puppy and go through obedience training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wyatt, a Chicago Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
