Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zuri #1966 is an adorable 4-month-old female Weimaraner mix or possible Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She loves to make friends although it can take a few minutes for her to warm up to new people. She knows basic commands like sit and down and pays close attention when she's being corrected. She's is doing great on a leash and will be a perfect running partner in an active home. Zuri loves to chew on her Kong and is learning to settle into her crate at bedtime and to go to the bathroom when she is outside. She prefers to be around her people as much as possible and can be very vocal when she is not. She's really playful and desperately wants to play with the cats in her foster home even though the cats aren't quite as social. Zuri is a beautiful, intelligent dog with a very loving temperament. She is expected to weigh about 60 pounds as an adult. Just like any puppy, this pup will need a loving home with an adopter that has the time to commit to continued puppy training to assist with house, leash and obedience training. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. This pup will be available for adoption on Saturday, Nov. 15 at our PUPPYPALOOZA adoption event at the Potomac Yard Alexandria PetSmart from noon – 4 p.m. See our Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/LCARMD
