My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the most handsome and endearing dog ever- Stasiu (pronounced Sta-shoe)! This 5 year old, 59lbs of love and affection is desperately seeking a new ‘forever’ home. Unfortunately his place in the household was taken away by an addition of a baby. Stasiu has shown no aggression or dislike towards the 6 month infant, but at least one family member no longer wants him in his home. He has some Staffordshire Terrier in him most likely, and the new mom doesnts fee comfortable with him in the house. Unfortunately after being a part of the family since birth, and being man’s best friend- he now has to go and find himself a new home. Stasiu has a lot of energy and loves to run and play with others at dog parks and on outdoor adventures. He is athletic, well built and very healthy. He is active, but settles nicely in the house and can be trusted to relax and sleep on his pet bed or wherever his people are. This gorgeous and lively bully mix-boy; looks to be a mix of shepherd and/or cattle dog maybe? He is self-assured and still has a great eagerness to learn. Stasiu loves to be anywhere people are. He’s a true cuddler and a true companion. Don’t tell this big boy he’s not a lap dog! He is extremely playful and would love an active family who would get him out and about walking, running or even hiking. Stasiu knows his basic commands; sit, down, stay and come, among others. He is calm and good on a leash. He has a bit of food aggression if he thinks you are going to take his food away; and Stasiu and current owner are attending training classes with Jim Elder at Scatter Creek Training. His new skills and Jim’s understanding of his food issue will make the transition easier to a new family and Jim can give the tips for his food. Stasiu has never been around cats so we are unsure of the ability to co-exist…but of course slow intros to cats is always important. Mr. Stasiu (means Stanley in Polish) is totally house trained, up to date on all vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped. He rides well in the car, is over his puppy chewing stage; and still has youngster stamina and energy! He is great with people of all ages and plays well with others. He is smart, social, a “pleaser” and more than anything he deserves a home where he is wanted and loved. Stasiu is available to meet this weekend (Nov 22th) at Paradise Pet Lodge in Woodinville! His re-homing fee is $250 and for any questions please email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. Wouldn’t you just love to be the lucky folks who get to make this best loveable boy’s future a bright and happy one!?
