My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Qismat means “fate” in Arabic. Boy, what fate has had in store for our Miss Qis! She was trapped down in the hood when she was tiny, tiny. This saved her life. She is now a nearly one year old (dob 2/26/14) black beauty, soft and sleek, yet petite (7 lbs). She was unbelievably returned after having been adopted as a baby. The people were moving and had no place for Qissy. What?? Really? But she is happy and super affectionate back in her foster home where she gets along with the other cats. But she LOVES the resident dogs, her BFF’s! And she faithfully uses her litter box. She is a special girl who absolutely loves her people who she kisses (must be from hangin’ with those dogs, right?). And she squeaks rather than meows. Wow? Her foster mom has promised her the BEST forever home in existence this time around. Did you know black cats and dogs are adopted the least and euthanized the most? Maybe she will be the bright black spot in your life. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Qismat, please contact her foster, Judy S, at 419-464-6105. - See more at: http://www.plannedpethood.org/cats/available.html
