Goober's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Goober's Story...
Goober is a piebald smooth dachshund boy who is 9 years-old and about 14 pounds. He came into rescue because the toddler in the home was too overwhelming for him and a bit frightening with all of that activity. Goober is much more settled and content in his foster home, surrounded by love and other dachshunds. He is great with other dogs and people too, although he needs a moment to get to know you initially. He knows how to use a doggy door like a champ and is a perfect, loving boy. Goober's adoption fee is $250.00. An adoption application can be completed anytime at http://www.OnMyWayHomeRescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goober, a Henderson Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Henderson, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Henderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Henderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Henderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Henderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
