My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Celeste was pulled from a high kill shelter the day she was to die. We knew this girl was special from the moment we laid eyes on her. We were sure she would be adopted right away from the shelter. This did not happen because for some reason black dogs are overlooked in the pound and many die for this reason. We could not let this beautiful little girl die. We pulled her and we are so glad we did. Celeste is only 10 months old and is even more precious than we could have ever imagined. We chose her name because she adorns a star on her chest. She is the most laid back girl you will ever meet. She is content laying on the bed or couch when you are relaxing but also loves to play ball when outside. She truly is the perfect dog. She is housetrained. She walks excellent on a leash. She is a pleasure to have around. She does not make a mess. She is so thankful to be alive and will prove this to you for the rest of her life. She is a Australian Cattle Dog mix and is a small girl only weighing 40lbs. She is heartworm negative and up to date on her shots and has been spayed. She wants nothing more than a place to call home and a family who will love her unconditionally. Could that family be yours?

ADOPTION FEE $350. Celeste’s adoption fee is lower than some of our dogs because we have paired up with Dogs On Borrowed Time Manchester, TN to save as many pound dogs from death row as possible. We are able to offer lower fee because the ladies at Dogs On Borrowed Time do all the fostering and all the leg work for these dogs. Dogs In Harmony assist with vetting and of course approves the dog to join our rescue. This is exciting news as we will be able to save many more lives working together.
