About Kerry's Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

Kerry's Cats was founded in 2010 by Kerry A. Spitzenberger. We are a small, non-profit, cat sanctuary, that cares for, rehabilitates, and adopts out cats that have, in one way or another, been forgotten, mistreated, or left behind. Any money raised, goes directly to the care of our fosters.

Kerry's Cats mission is NO MORE HOMELESS CATS in the York County, SC area. We work towards this mission on 3 fronts:

1) Working with each at risk cat in his/her present home to keep him/her at that home. This is done by assisting with veterinary care, providing food/shelter/containment/education as needed;

2) Providing low cost spay/neuter options to cat owners to reduce the population of potentially at risk pets in our designated geographic area;

3) Providing rescue and adoption options if other alternatives are not viable.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Thank you for your donation to Kerry's Cats. All of your donations go directly for the care of the many cats we have at the rescue.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Pets can be viewed on our website, http://kerryscats.org, and can be visited in the Volunteer foster home in which the pet resides, at the discretion of the Volunteer and on a case by case basis.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in the adoption process, once you have found a pet who stole your heart, is to complete the adoption application, located on our website. Once your application is processed, and the required information is verified ( typically within 24 hours of receipt), you will be contacted by one of our Volunteers to schedule a visit to your home, with the pet you chose to add to your family. If all goes well with the home visit, CONGRATULATIONS on your new family member!!

We are an all Volunteer/foster home based Organization, the Foster of the pet you chose has the FINAL SAY in the adoption.
