Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet Duke! He is a 2 year old brindle & white English bulldog. Duke came to BBR as an owner surrender; his family was moving out of the country and based on his medical history did not was to risk flying him overseas. He has a history of stones and previously had surgery to redirect his urethra, but was not neutered at the time. Due to this, he had a recurrence of stones. BBR took him in and had him neutered, stones removed, and re-opened up his “pee hole” so things will flow more easily. Since his surgery, Duke has been doing great!
Duke is super sweet and has made himself right at home with his fosters. He's a good snuggler when he wants to be. Duke’s foster family has been working on his manners - like not jumping on people when he meets them, sitting & waiting for his food bowl, etc. He is food motivated, so he tends to learn best when treats are involved. Duke really enjoys going for walks and chasing his ball around. One thing he does NOT like – the vacuum cleaner! His foster family has been allowing him to sleep out of his crate at night, and that is going really well. He likes sleep in the room near them.
Duke is dog aggressive and does not get along with other dogs at all. He also does not like cats, but he does do well with children of all ages.
Duke is neutered and up to date on shots. Please consider opening up your heart and giving Duke his loving furever home!
Adoption donation for Duke is $650. For more info on Duke, please visit this link: www.buckeyebulldogrescue.org/duke.html
