Meet MAGGIE
A sweet little long hair black and tan tweenie Dachshund, MAGGIE is 5.5 years old and 16 lbs. With her excellent breeding and temperament, she is truly like a princess. Whether her name conjures up images of Princess Margaret from England or a silent but brilliant cartoon baby, our little MAGGIE is sure to steal your heart. She is loving, very healthy, spayed and up to date on all of her shots. While she would prefer a home of her own, she could be placed with a gentleman male doxie who has been neutered. Are you looking for your very own princess to love and cherish? MAGGIE is looking for a forever family to adore and shine her light on.
OUR CRITERIA (aka The Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember, these are rescues; many were surrendered because of these issues.
WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN WITH YOUR LITTLE RESCUE:
All our dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Pyrantyl, nails trimmed, and dental when needed. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
