Lex is an 18 month old mixed breed male that is participating in the Canine CellMates Program which is an 8 week residential program where he is paired with an inmate and through training for Canine Good Citizen standing, both participants benefit. Lex is incredibly sweet and only wants to please! He loves to lounge around and get belly rubs, or run around with your outside or learn new tricks to get treats! He is a people dog but would also love to have a 4 legged brother or sister of the canine variety. He likes water and love baths! He is extremely cute when it comes to playing with his toys as he gathers them up and puts them on his bed. He might need two beds - one for him and one for his toys!! He knows commands such as sit/stay/go to your bed/down/wait/leave it. He loves to learn. LIke all his CellMates, Lex is in training to be a Canine Good Citizen and learning all the skills he needs to be a perfect family dog. Now he just needs his perfect family.
