Ellie is a 1.5 year old, 50 lb, Boxer/Lab mix. This sweet girl was rescued by her foster mom out of a high kill shelter in a small town in the nick of time. Ellie had kennel cough and there was no treatment for her at the shelter and her time was running out. Her foster mom was out there that day and took one look at her beautiful face and fell in love. After a trip to the vet for some medicine Ellie is good to go. Ellie is an energetic, playful and sweet girl who needs to find her forever home with someone who is active and will run and play with her. She still has a lot of puppy in her and is a very fast runner. She loves to come in the house but she is not quite housetrained yet. She is very smart and will be a fast learner for sure. She is very good with other dogs and puppies. She hasn't chased the cat. She has been around donkeys and cows and hasn't chased them either, just barked at them.
