This ain’t no surfer dude!
I may be from California but I’m not surfer, what I am is one happy, easy going, fun, lap loving pup (okay maybe I could be a surfer)! I am a 2 year old Maltese/Poodle and now that I’m in Idaho I’m looking for a new home.
Now don’t judge me on my haircut; a sweet lady named Ellie had to shave me pretty close because I was cover in nasty, dirty, matted fur. She was so gentle with me while she bathed me and shaved me that I gave her lots and lots of kisses.
Anyway I’m looking for a new home and if you are looking for a new family member maybe we are a good fit for each other. I’m looking for a family that will:
a) Let me lie in their lap (I LOVE laps)
b) Love on me and give me lots of attention(I LOVE attention)
c) Give me lots of toys and play with me (I LOVE toys)
d) Make sure I get groomed regularly (I LOVE my groomer)
e) Take me on walks (I LOVE to walk)
f) Let me come with them when they go places (I LOVE to go)
In return I will sit, come, get back and stay out of the kitchen if you ask me to. I will only potty outside, I even know how to use a dog door. I will play nicely with your other dogs. I will walk nicely for you when we take a stroll and I will keep you warm and make you smile!
My friends at Fuzzy Pawz told me that I do have to fess up to my few bad habits…sigh. I can get a bit jealous of other people/dogs when I’m sitting on your lap and will give a growl. But just put me on the floor and I remember that I’m supposed to share. I also tend to jump up on people and put my mouth on them when I am excited (which happens because I just love people)! But if you will work with me I know I can remember to not do that. I just need someone to help me learn all the rules of this big world. Oh and I should mention that I’m not a huge fan of those little humans; I don’t want to live with any unless they are at least 12. I'm also very afraid of men and would prefer a household without them; I've been trying to overcome my fear but so far it hasn't worked.
