I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Cody's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cody's Story...
Meet Cody, he is an amazing, lovely purebred German Shepherd. Cody really needs a Single, female owner. With one person he will bond so strongly and permanently. He does not do well in a multi- person household and tends to retreat and distance himself from all but just one person in the home. He is amazing with other dogs, and really loves cats!
Poor Cody is dealing with trust issues, not with his foster mom but mainly men, and most strangers who come to the home. He was turned in as a stray dog in a very bad shelter. He clearly has been through soo much in his life and needs someone to be his forever, stable person. He will make a perfect dog for a single woman needing an emotional support type of dog and someone who doesn't expect Cody to be Mr. Social with visitors. (He retreats to the bedroom typically). Cody is a sweet boy and has no aggression issues. He is house trained, crate trained and knows all of his basic commands. Cody will need an owner who knows the GSD breed as well. If you are interested in Cody please do email us at and tell us about your experience with GSDs as well why you would be a good owner for this precious boy, and request an application for adoption. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and very healthy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Snohomish German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Snohomish, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Snohomish.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snohomish already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snohomish breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snohomish paves the way for another one to be saved.
